So far I have put my blog notes primarily in Russian. For a variety of reasons I think I may try to do it in English. Thinking over this turn I caught myself on being much more careful in choosing themes and wording in English than in Russian. Of course English is not my native tongue and I have to be excessively attentive when using it. One way or another Russian seems to be more liberal. What is it?  Just my lack of language sophistication? Or different balance of freedom and responsibility?

Carefully choosing words while speaking in English is a very natural thing when it comes to those who learned English later in life. It is not because Russian is more liberal language. No. It is only because you learned Russian while growing up and as a child accepting it more natural. But now, learning English as an adult you need to follow logit and demand explanation for use certain words. Either way, have fun!
